Sally Strickland
Sallie has more than 15 years’ experience in assessing and coaching leaders from CEO level to high potentials across corporate, federal and state government departments, and the not-for-profit sector.
Sallie’s experience includes coaching both individuals and teams in the context of cultural change, business re-structure and transformation, and organisational development. She has helped executives strengthen their executive presence, capacity to deal with ambiguity, improve sales performance, increase insight and impact on others, with a focus on enabling them to show up powerfully in their system. Sallie encourages her clients to have courageous conversations within their organisations, facilitating the embedding of collaborative practices that simultaneously increase personal effectiveness, wellbeing and organisational knowledge, whilst bolstering the internal talent pipeline.
Sallie’s coaching approach is underpinned by her ability to draw from psychological, systems, contemporary management, adult development and learning theories and models. Her coaching process is both structured and emergent, evidence-based and outcome focussed. She integrates her deep practical business experience together with her work as a psychologist and workplace mediator to adapt her coaching assignments to be fit-for-purpose and learning oriented. Sallie values learning as every organisation’s principal agent for change.
Sallie’s personal style is warm, authentic, adaptive, energetic and reflexive. Sallie values the importance of reflection and supervision as a critical component of her own professional practice.
Sallie is equally energised by her work and personal life. She is committed to stretching her learning and seeks out experiences that take her to the edge of her competence to challenge and build her skills. To recharge Sallie pursues a keen interest in the pleasure of yoga practice, bushwalking and being in nature.
